The 3G Configuration Menu is located at Main Menu -> Configuration Menu -> Network Interface configuration -> 3G Cellular Interface Configuration

The cellular modem must be configured for the proper provider before it is connected to the mobile network.

The setup wizard will present proper default values for each provider. Normally all that is required is to hit enter for each prompt.

Connection Mode

Connection mode:
1...Backup link (failover)
2...Primary link (always on)

Advanced Options

To force the router to reboot upon receipt of a special code via SMS message, use the reboot-code command on the WWAN interface:
interface WWAN0
 description 3G Cellular Connection
 ip address dhcp metric 10
 reboot-code scott-reboot
!
The router will reboot if it receives "scott-reboot" in any part of an SMS message.
